Machzike Hadath uses this website to present the Sefer Torah Project, receive donations, manage sponsorships, and communicate with donors.

We may collect personal information you provide to us, including your name, email address, donation amount, dedication message, anonymity preference, sponsorship selection, and, where relevant, your Achisomoch account number. If you contact us directly, we may also keep the contents of your message and any follow-up correspondence.

We use this information to process donations, issue receipts, administer the campaign, maintain internal records, respond to enquiries, prevent misuse of the website, and comply with legal, accounting, and charity-related obligations.

Donations made through this website are processed using third-party payment providers, including Stripe for card payments and Achisomoch where that option is offered. We also use Supabase to store and manage campaign and donation records. We do not store full payment card details on this website.

If you choose to sponsor anonymously, we will aim not to display your name in the public campaign areas of the site. Dedications and donor names may otherwise appear publicly in connection with a donation or sponsorship unless the anonymous option is selected or the organisers decide to keep a listing private.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the campaign, maintain donation and accounting records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, object to certain processing, or request deletion where retention is no longer required. To make a privacy-related request, contact mhsefertorahproject@gmail.com.

This website uses limited cookies and similar browser storage technologies that are necessary for the operation of the site and its administration tools.

These technologies may be used to keep an administrator signed in, remember interface state, and temporarily preserve in-progress donation or reservation flow information when a visitor is redirected to and from a payment provider.

As of June 7, 2026, we do not use this website for advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking. If that changes, this policy should be updated before any new optional cookies are introduced.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies and local storage through browser settings. Disabling certain necessary technologies may affect website functionality, including donations, login, and reservation handling.

By using this website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the website, its security, or other users.

Donation amounts, sponsorship availability, and campaign information may change. A sponsorship or dedication is not final until confirmed by the organisers and, if applicable, payment has been successfully received or other arrangements have been agreed.

Reserved sponsorships are subject to the separate Payment & Reservation Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that any dedication text or other content you submit is lawful, respectful, and not misleading or infringing on the rights of others.

We may suspend, refuse, reverse, or manually review a donation, listing, or reservation where we believe it is necessary to protect the campaign, comply with legal obligations, address payment issues, or correct a genuine mistake.

The website content, design, branding, and campaign materials remain the property of Machzike Hadath or the relevant rights holders unless stated otherwise. You may not copy or reuse website content for commercial purposes without permission.

This website is provided on an as-available basis. While we aim to keep information accurate and the website functioning properly, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all content will always be current or error-free.
